Privacy Policy — VECTRON ARMAGEDDON
This privacy policy covers the VECTRON ARMAGEDDON app, not this website — the separate website privacy policy applies to that. The app collects no personal data: it contains no ads, no tracking and no analytics SDKs. It is playable offline; a network connection is used only for Game Center and for optional in-app purchases, both of which are handled by Apple.

Data that stays on your device
The app stores the following only locally on your device, in the standard iOS or macOS settings store: your campaign and endless high scores including the best result per sector and per ship, your progress and the difficulty tier you reached, the ship you selected, a list of the in-app purchases you have unlocked, and your settings (music and effects volume, reduced effects, haptics, frame rate and language). This data never leaves your device, contains nothing about you personally, and is not visible to us. The list of unlocks consists purely of product identifiers such as “de.kristmann.vectron.laser” and contains no purchase or payment details. It is deleted when you uninstall the app. If you use device backups, it may form part of your Apple-managed backup — which we cannot access either.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the app submits your score to the Game Center leaderboards for campaign and endless mode. Game Center is a service operated by Apple Inc.; your Game Center profile (nickname, player ID) and your scores are processed by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We run no servers of our own and receive no personal data from Game Center. The legal basis is your consent, given by signing in to Game Center (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can disable Game Center at any time in your device settings; the app is fully playable without it.
In-app purchases
The app offers optional, one-time in-app purchases (non-consumables): a laser upgrade, an extra life, four additional ships, and a bundle combining them. There are no subscriptions, no loot boxes and no in-game currency. Purchase, payment and restoration are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. In doing so Apple processes data such as your Apple Account and payment details; Apple is the controller for that processing under its own privacy policy. We receive neither your payment details nor your Apple Account identifier — only the information from Apple about which products are unlocked on your device, with no link to you personally. When the app starts, and whenever you choose “Restore Purchases”, it asks Apple which products you own so that purchased content is available on a new device too. The legal basis is performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The app is fully playable without any purchases, and without a network connection — only the shop is then unavailable.
No collection by us
We collect no usage statistics, crash reports, device IDs, advertising IDs or location data. We run no servers of our own. The app makes network connections exclusively to Apple — for Game Center and for in-app purchases. When you buy or download the app through the App Store, Apple processes data such as your Apple Account and payment details, and may provide us with aggregated, non-personal sales and crash statistics derived from it. Apple is the controller for that processing.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, we generally can neither provide information about you nor delete anything. Under the GDPR you have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77). For data processed through Game Center or the App Store, please contact Apple directly.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this privacy policy
We will update this privacy policy as the app's feature set or the legal situation changes. The version published here is the applicable one. Last updated: July 2026
